01 — Who we are

A business tool at the service of companies, led by companies.

Clúster Turismo Innova Gran Canaria was founded in 2009 as a non-profit association to promote a network-based model for tourism. Since 2015 it has been managed by the Gran Canaria Chamber of Commerce, with a clear goal: to improve the profitability of Canary Islands tourism businesses through collaborative innovation.

We are a state-accredited Innovative Business Cluster (AEI). Non-profit. Open to the full tourism value chain: accommodation, activities, health, events, technology and knowledge.

Our mission
To improve the competitiveness and profitability of Gran Canaria tourism businesses by driving collaborative innovation projects.
Our vision
A knowledge-intensive, market-oriented destination of international reference, built through public-private cooperation.
How we work
We build trust between members, identify projects, source funding, coordinate execution and share the results obtained.
Who we represent
Accommodation, active tourism, health, event and technology companies; universities and R&D centres; and the five public institutions that anchor the cluster.
02 — What we do

Six services for our members.

/ 01

Network
facilitation

We bring tourism-linked companies together and build the trust required to collaborate — through sectoral working groups, assemblies and member-only events.

Roadmap

Three strategic priorities.

/ 01

Product differentiation

Build distinctive Gran Canaria experiences that justify price and attract the visitor the destination wants.

/ 02

Applied technology

Data, platforms and digital solutions that improve operations and margins.

/ 03

Renewing the offer

Caring for the infrastructure, landscape, environment and training that hold up the destination.

03 — How we are

Four principles that define us.

N° 01
Collaborate
over compete.
The cluster is not a sales floor between providers and buyers. It's a space where both work together so all participants become more competitive.
N° 02
Innovate
as method, not fashion.
We treat innovation as a continuous system that produces different results and better margins — not necessarily as new technology.
N° 03
Think
in networks, not hierarchies.
An open structure across the full tourism value chain. Any company with something to add belongs here.
N° 04
Rooted
in Gran Canaria.
We work to keep the island competitive, sustainable and attractive over the long term. Everything we do is measured by what it brings here.
